• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Floating: May float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and the Emergency Department for holds
• Schedule Note: Every other weekend or equivalent based on staffing needs

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required at submission, including a valid New Hampshire RN license
• Compact RN license required at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital PCU nursing experience required
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition and telemetry monitoring skills
• Critical drip experience required in a progressive care or acute care setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Additional required certification: NIAH
• Self-directed, confident, positive, and an effective team player
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed in challenging situations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients in a hospital PCU setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond quickly to clinical needs
• Manage patients requiring critical drips and close observation
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient stability and recovery
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed across Med Surg, ICU border patients, and ED holds
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate clearly during handoffs and throughout the shift
• Provide compassionate care while working efficiently in a high-acuity travel nursing environment
