Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
- Setting: Acute Care Intensive Care Unit
- Location: Nampa, Idaho
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800–$1,890
- Schedule Notes: Weekends as needed; first to float
- Orientation: 1–2 shifts, depending on experience
- Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience titrating critical care drips required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends as needed, and floating assignments
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills
- Comfortable providing care for high-acuity patients in an acute care environment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for ICU patients with complex, high-acuity needs
- Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, strokes, GI bleeds, and post-code recovery
- Titrate critical care drips according to patient condition and provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Support safe, efficient patient care in a 10-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Float as needed to other units while maintaining professionalism and quality of care
- Document accurately in Epic and follow all unit protocols and standards
