• Position: ICU Registered Nurse / Critical Care RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit / Surgical ICU
• Location: Burlington, Vermont
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Schedule Notes: Flexible scheduling required, with at least every other weekend availability

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years required
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Experience in a large teaching hospital or facility with 500+ beds
• CCRN certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity environment
• Reliable transportation is strongly recommended

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in the ICU
• Care for a diverse critical care patient population, including post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status and provide attentive critical care nursing support
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling to support unit coverage and patient care needs
