- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
- Weekend / On-Call: Rotating requirement, approximately 2 to 4 shifts per month each
- Floating: May float across Med/Surg departments as needed
- Charting System: EPIC electronic health record (EHR)
- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact nursing license
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg or related acute care nursing experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to float assignments within the Med/Surg service line
- Experience working with electronic health records, preferably EPIC
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments according to established hospital protocols and patient care plans
- Monitor patients for treatment effectiveness, changes in condition, and potential side effects
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, interventions, and care delivered accurately and on time in EPIC
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, discharge needs, learning needs, and available resources
- Support patients and families with complex emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to maintain safe, efficient patient care
- Delegate appropriately and respond quickly to changes in patient status in a fast-paced acute care environment
