• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160-$2,270
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Rotating day/afternoon schedule with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Call: Weekly call required; expected standby call is 20-30 hours in a 4-week period with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend Coverage: Some weekends required
• Orientation: 2-3 shifts, including orientation to EPIC charting
• Charting System: EPIC OP-Time

Job Requirements

• Strong orthopedic operating room background preferred
• Must be able to circulate independently in the OR
• Must be comfortable taking call as required
• BLS certification required
• Active RN license required and able to submit for travel consideration
• Experience in a high-volume OR environment preferred
• Ability to work rotating day/afternoon shifts and occasional weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting
• Circulate independently for a wide range of surgical cases
• Support orthopedic, neuro, bariatric, ENT, ophthalmology, robotics, and other surgical service lines as assigned
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
• Take assigned call and respond within the required time frame
• Float between designated OR areas based on experience and unit needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC OP-Time
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented surgical environment
