• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070-$2,180
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Floating: Required; may float to medical-surgical, low-level monitoring, or other critical care units as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and Level I trauma setting required
• Strong critical care background with experience caring for 1:1 to 3:1 patient ratios
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular ICU and adapt across multiple critical care units

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to cardiovascular and critically ill adult patients
• Monitor and manage complex hemodynamic and cardiac conditions in a CVICU setting
• Support patients receiving vasoactive drips, anticoagulation protocols, ventilator support, and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare partners
• Respond to changing patient conditions with strong clinical judgment and prioritization
• Float between critical care and lower-acuity units as needed while maintaining safe, effective patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
• Contribute to a team-oriented culture focused on quality care and excellent patient outcomes
