• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 - $2,410
• Schedule Notes: Every other major holiday required; no on-call
• Floating: Floating required
• Patient Population: Adults ages 18-100
• EMR: Epic experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience or comparable acute care experience
• Current Massachusetts RN license, active or conditional as applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Travel nursing experience required; prior travel RN experience preferred
• Charge RN experience or charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Resume, skills checklist, and 2 recent supervisory or charge references required
• Driver’s license with matching address details required for submission
• NURSYS license verification completed within the last 7 days
• Must be able to submit requested time off at the time of application
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for Med/Surg patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and manage adult patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, CVA, and general surgery recovery
• Administer and monitor therapies including heparin drips, PCA, and amiodarone
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Float to a related unit as needed and remain flexible to changing patient care demands
• Use strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Support charge responsibilities when needed and help maintain smooth unit operations
• Deliver high-quality patient care while contributing to a supportive and professional healthcare team
