Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - CVOR
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Akron, OH
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• On-Call: Required; rotation details discussed during interview
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty
• At least 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience preferred
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Recent manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference in the specialty
• Experience scrubbing open heart and vascular cases, including wired vascular procedures
• Must complete required pre-start compliance steps and assessments

Responsibilities

• Scrub and support open heart and vascular procedures in the operating room
• Assist with high-acuity CVOR cases while maintaining a safe, sterile environment
• Prepare the OR and ensure supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
• Provide high-quality patient care throughout the surgical workflow
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
• Follow all facility standards, documentation expectations, and clinical protocols
