• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
• Previous CVOR, operating room, or cardiovascular surgical experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity surgical and perioperative setting
• Willingness to float to clinically appropriate units within scope, licensure, and competency as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room as a CVOR Registered Nurse
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing needs
• Support safe, efficient surgical workflows, sterile technique, and patient positioning
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Participate in call coverage and support patient care across assigned clinical areas as needed
