• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
• Call Requirements: If stress testing experience is present, weekend call rotation may include one weekend per month and holidays
• Setting: Acute care, cardiac and critical care environment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing, critical care, or cardiac nursing experience
• Current North Dakota RN license, or willingness to obtain
• ACLS certification through AHA
• BLS certification through AHA
• Experience with conscious sedation and post-procedure recovery
• Strong rhythm interpretation, cardiac monitoring, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a 1:1 setting
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Stress testing experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Support patient care for transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions
• Monitor and recover patients following cardiac procedures
• Administer conscious sedation per clinical standards and protocols
• Perform detailed cardiac assessments and rhythm interpretation
• Collaborate with providers and the charge nurse to ensure smooth patient flow
• Assist with a high-volume daily caseload in a focused procedural setting
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit-specific workflows
• Deliver attentive, patient-centered care while helping maintain a safe, efficient environment
