• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,960 - $2,060
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; no weekends or holidays

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Registered Nurse licensure required
• Recent PACU, pre-op, recovery, ICU, or ED nursing experience preferred
• ICU or ED experience required
• Epic experience preferred; candidates with more than 1 year of Epic experience are especially encouraged to apply
• Travel nurses with fewer than 2 years of experience may be considered
• Must submit a current Nursys report pulled within the last 2 weeks
• No license hits permitted
• Ability to meet compliance requirements for a travel assignment
• Legal first and last name must be used for submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the PACU and post anesthesia recovery setting
• Monitor patients closely during post-procedure recovery
• Support pre-op and recovery workflow for procedural patients
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Deliver compassionate care while promoting patient comfort and safety
• Adapt to a weekday schedule and contribute to a reliable team environment
