- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule Highlights: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no holidays
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,760 - $1,850
- Location: Chicago, Illinois
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand
- At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred; ICU or ED experience required
- Epic experience strongly preferred; candidates with limited Epic experience may require instructor-led Epic training
- Previous PACU, pre-op, prep/recovery, or procedural recovery experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced perioperative environment
- Recent Nursys report required with submission
- Travelers must use their legal first and last name for credentialing and background processing
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the pre-op and post-anesthesia recovery setting
- Monitor patients before and after procedures to support safe recovery and discharge readiness
- Communicate clearly with the procedural team to promote smooth patient flow and coordinated care
- Document accurately in Epic and follow established facility protocols and standards
- Deliver compassionate, attentive patient care in a surgical recovery environment
