Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Travel nurses must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Valid driver’s license required for submission
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a collaborative maternal/newborn environment
• Previous experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, or postpartum nursing preferred

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients and newborns in the maternal/newborn setting
• Support mothers throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Care for newborns and assist with Mother Baby support when Labor & Delivery census is low
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote positive outcomes for patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of nursing practice
