This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys fast-paced telemetry nursing, adult acute care, and delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.

You’ll care for adult patients with complex medical needs while supporting a team-based environment and using your telemetry expertise to help ensure safe, effective, and timely nursing care.

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, with flexibility based on unit needs
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680–$1,770
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Patient Ratio: 6:1

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or related acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to care for adult patients with telemetry and progressive care needs
• Comfort working in a team-based environment and floating to qualified med/surg units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with telemetry and medical/surgical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Administer and monitor approved drips and therapies, including heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Support step-down level patients who do not require vents or pressor support
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear, timely charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Float to other qualified med/surg units when needed based on census and staffing needs
