Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission; permanent Ohio RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 18 months of combined nursing experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required
• Travel nursing experience accepted
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• One specialty reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must meet all compliance, screening, and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department
• Perform focused assessments, monitor patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the ED workflow
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document accurately and maintain clinical standards of care
• Use strong communication, prioritization, and time-management skills during night shift operations
• Adapt to a dynamic acute care environment while delivering compassionate care to diverse patient populations
