Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Experience in acute adult mental health, psychiatric nursing, or behavioral health preferred
• Strong de-escalation and therapeutic communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and patient-focused in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfort working with thought-disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, and manic patient populations
• Must be able to work in business casual attire per unit guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on a behavioral health unit
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adult mental health patients
• Use de-escalation techniques to help manage challenging situations
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
