• Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: Hospital Float Pool / Med-Surg Telemetry / Acute Care
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location preferred
• At least 2 years of travel nurse experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
• Experience with cardiac drips and TR Band
• Ability and willingness to float between multiple inpatient units throughout the hospital
• Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and confidence in a fast-paced telemetry nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in telemetry, med/surg, and float pool settings
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Manage cardiac drips and support patients requiring close cardiac observation
• Float among multiple hospital units as needed based on patient care needs
• Care for a variety of patient populations, including ED border patients and transfer-ready ICU patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs, unit priorities, and workflow demands
