Travel NICU Registered Nurse - Level III NICU in Dallas, TX 75230

Travel NICU Registered Nurse needed in Dallas, Texas for a 13-week Level III NICU assignment. Join a collaborative clinical team in North Dallas and provide expert neonatal care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

  • Weekends/Holidays: Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
  • Setting: Level III NICU
  • Openings: 2

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required
  • Experience caring for preemies, including infants 28 weeks and above
  • Experience with respiratory management, including intubated patients
  • Experience managing central lines
  • Experience with trach infants and broviacs preferred
  • Experience with surgical and cardiac patients preferred
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU
  • Monitor and manage patients with complex respiratory and medical needs
  • Care for infants requiring support such as nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, vents, oscillators, and warmers
  • Support patients with central lines, trachs, and other advanced neonatal needs
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately using the unit’s clinical systems
  • Float to related pediatric areas when needed, based on unit policy
  • Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a high-acuity environment
