• Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation every other weekend; may float as needed to the nursery
• Setting: New NICU service line with advanced equipment and 24/7 in-house neonatal, OB, and anesthesia support

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certification required
• STABLE certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital or specialty nursing experience, preferably in NICU or neonatal care
• Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or ventilation preferred
• Experience with central lines preferred
• Stabilization experience and attendance at deliveries preferred
• Developmental care experience preferred
• Strong commitment to family-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for NICU patients
• Monitor and support infants requiring advanced respiratory care, including CPAP and ventilation
• Assist with line placement, circumcision, and intubation support
• Collaborate closely with neonatal nurse practitioners and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver developmentally appropriate, family-centered neonatal nursing care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and attendance expectations
• Support newborn nursery coverage when floating is needed
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team in a newly opened service line
