Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in West Houston, TX

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
  • TNCC preferred
  • Strong emergency nursing, patient care, and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and dependable approach

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
  • Assess, triage, and monitor patients with varying levels of acuity
  • Respond effectively to urgent and emergent patient needs
  • Support procedures such as intubation and central line care
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
  • Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the EMR
  • Deliver care in a patient ratio of approximately 1:4
  • Contribute to a professional, team-focused emergency nursing environment
