Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Contract in Conroe, Texas

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• EMR: Meditech
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Environment: High-acuity emergency care setting with strong teamwork and a steady patient flow

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Strong compassion and empathy in patient care
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency department
• Preferred: ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to emergency department patients across a variety of acuity levels
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and support moderate sedation as needed
• Monitor cardiac status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with TNK administration and other emergency interventions as directed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality emergency care
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence while working in a busy clinical environment
