Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a state or compact state
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred; candidates with strong Med Surg experience and 1 year of experience may be considered
• Ability to provide skilled care in a Progressive Care Unit / PCU setting
• Current resume and professional references ready for submission
• Comfortable working a day shift schedule with rotating clinical demands
• Commitment to high standards of patient care, teamwork, and reliability

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to PCU patients
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition in an acute care setting
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Support patient education and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes
• Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered unit environment
