This travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in a procedural, high-acuity environment. As an IR RN, you will support adult and geriatric patients undergoing complex interventional radiology and diagnostic procedures while collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary healthcare team.

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,230-$2,350
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Call: Rotating call coverage may be required based on unit staffing
- Weekend Coverage: Varies depending on staffing needs
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- ICU experience required
- Travel RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active Washington RN license or compact license in hand at submission
- Epic charting experience preferred/required
- Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Ability to support procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Comfort working in a dynamic procedural care and interventional radiology environment
- Ability to commit to the schedule and required holiday coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Assist with CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placement, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Support procedural sedation administration and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional care team to coordinate patient flow and care needs
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment that supports excellent patient outcomes
