• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts Per Week: Approximately 4
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000-$3,160
• Schedule Notes: Up to 2 weekends per month, with occasional on-call coverage and holiday availability as assigned

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and transplant cases preferred
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in call coverage as needed
• Excellent communication, teamwork, clinical judgment, and patient safety skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
• Circulate and/or scrub a variety of operating room cases, including general surgery, robotics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, spine, GYN, urology, trauma, and transplants
• Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, and support case readiness
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs during procedures
• Assist with call shifts, weekend coverage, and holiday scheduling as assigned
• Contribute to a fast-paced surgical team focused on safety, efficiency, and excellent outcomes
