• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

• Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or acute care RN experience required
• Current Wisconsin RN license required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Education verification required
• Ability to float to multiple inpatient units as needed
• Strong communication, adaptability, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and standards of care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement activities and shared governance as applicable
• Use clinical judgment to escalate concerns and support patient safety
• Float to assigned inpatient units and provide clinical support where needed
