Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 5+ years of nursing supervisor or house supervisor experience, including Charge Nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting
• Proven leadership experience in hospital nursing or clinical supervision
• Nursing degree required; diploma or ASN accepted, BSN preferred
• Ability to oversee care for patients ranging from infancy through geriatrics
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise patient care across multiple nursing units and hospital departments
• Provide clinical direction and serve as a role model for nursing staff
• Evaluate care delivered by nursing personnel and support high standards of practice
• Make appropriate staffing decisions to support high-quality, efficient patient care
• Act as the on-site representative for operational and administrative coordination during assigned shifts
• Collaborate with Clinical Managers and Nursing Leadership to support smooth hospital operations
• Promote interdisciplinary communication, cooperation, and a positive patient and staff experience
• Support team development and contribute to the goals of the Nursing Division
