Job Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Wound care certification (HWC) available on-site
• Strong clinical assessment and acute care nursing skills
• Professional, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional float assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to a diverse adult patient population
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond quickly to changing patient needs in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech EHR system
• Support patient safety, quality outcomes, and a positive unit experience
