Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Cerner electronic medical record experience required
- Willingness to float as needed in a dynamic hospital setting
- Charge nurse experience preferred for this ER nursing role
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and rapid decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, high-quality care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Respond quickly to changing clinical conditions and prioritize urgent patient needs
- Deliver care in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act guidelines and facility policies
- Support efficient patient flow while maintaining compassion, professionalism, and quality care
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote patient, family, and staff safety in a fast-paced emergency care environment
