Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner electronic medical record experience required
• Willingness to float as needed in a dynamic hospital setting
• Charge nurse experience preferred for this ER nursing role
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and rapid decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, high-quality care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond quickly to changing clinical conditions and prioritize urgent patient needs
• Deliver care in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act guidelines and facility policies
• Support efficient patient flow while maintaining compassion, professionalism, and quality care
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Promote patient, family, and staff safety in a fast-paced emergency care environment
