Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong comprehensive assessment skills
• Experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring devices preferred
• CRRT experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively as a team player with a positive, flexible, and empathetic approach

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care for adult ICU patients with complex and evolving needs
• Monitor and assess patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine disorders, substance use disorders, and psychiatric conditions
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients and support advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer and manage medications and infusions using unit equipment and protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Float to other inpatient areas when needed to support patient care across the hospital
• Contribute to a positive unit culture focused on teamwork, adaptability, and quality outcomes
