- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Weekend/Holiday Expectations: Every other weekend and major holidays as required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact eligibility
- Minimum of 2.5 to 3 years of NICU experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Experience with cooling therapy, ventilators, JET ventilators, and oscillators required
- Strong neonatal and pediatric assessment skills
- Previous experience in a high-acuity critical care or neonatal nursing environment preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and family-centered care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced travel nursing assignment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient status
- Administer medications and therapies according to established nursing standards and protocols
- Support infants requiring advanced neonatal care, including cooling therapy and ventilator management
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and provide stabilization as needed
- Educate and support families throughout the care experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety at all times
