In this Emergency Department nursing role, you will provide direct patient care in a busy ED, supporting patients with a wide range of medical needs from non-urgent concerns to life-threatening emergencies. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, stabilize, and coordinate care while helping deliver a safe, efficient, and positive patient experience.

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and major holidays
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department or emergency room nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Conscious sedation experience required
- EKG exam must be passed at orientation
- EPIC experience preferred
- CPI / de-escalation training required
- Ability to provide care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adolescents
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, high-acuity healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
- Support triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Provide emergency nursing care for medical, trauma, pediatric, geriatric, and behavioral health patients
- Use emergency equipment and technology effectively, including monitoring and airway support tools
- Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe, organized care environment
- Promote patient safety, de-escalation, and compassionate communication
- Work collaboratively during high-volume periods, shift changes, and emergency situations
