- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
- Setting: Level IV NICU with a highly specialized neonatal care team
- Float Requirement: Required within the ICU cluster, including NICU, PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, and IMU as needed
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NICU
- At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
- EPIC experience required
- Active Arkansas RN license or compact RN license required upon offer
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients strongly preferred
- Ability to float within the ICU cluster as needed
- Must pass fit testing
- Must test negative for nicotine
- Level I or II NICU experience will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns
- Monitor and manage complex neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, prematurity-related complications, surgical recovery, and other high-acuity diagnoses
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized interventions according to NICU standards
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapy, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary support teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards
- Support families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
- Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and contribute to a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Float to designated ICU areas when needed while maintaining excellent patient care standards
