  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Schedule: Every other weekend
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
  • At least 1 year of ICU experience preferred
  • BLS certification required prior to first shift
  • ACLS certification required prior to first shift
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced LTAC setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Participate in patient rehabilitation and support education for patients and families
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission
  • Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate care providers to support continuity of care
  • Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel as needed
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and positive unit environment
  • Support charge nurse responsibilities following orientation, when assigned
  • Assist with maintaining supplies, equipment awareness, and cost-effective patient care
