Join a dynamic float pool nursing team in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where you’ll support adult and geriatric patients across a variety of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings. Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• 2 years of Med/Surg, Telemetry, or similar acute care nursing experience required
• Ability to interpret telemetry independently
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong Epic charting experience required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients preferred
• Ability to float as needed within the campus and to rehab units
• Flu vaccination required unless approved exemption applies
• Must be comfortable with fast-paced patient care, variable assignments, and travel nursing expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in a float pool environment
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Float to PCU and rehab units as assigned while maintaining Med/Surg level of care
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per care plan
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Support patient safety initiatives, infection prevention practices, and unit workflow
• Work rotating weekends and holidays as part of the care team
