• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery / Perinatal care
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:2, depending on acuity
• Unit Size: 13 beds
• Additional Schedule Notes: No block scheduling, no floating, and holiday coverage may be required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, ideally in Labor & Delivery, OB, postpartum, or a similar acute-care setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP certification
• AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certification
• Experience with circulating and transition care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity maternity care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in acuity
• Support safe, efficient care in a collaborative obstetrics and nursing team environment
• Assist with circulating duties and transition care as needed
• Deliver patient education, advocacy, and family-centered support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established standards of practice
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented unit culture focused on excellent maternal and newborn outcomes
