Job Details
- Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Location: Houston, TX 77082
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Shift Pattern: One full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week schedule
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or similar procedural / critical care setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience is preferred
- Comfort working with procedural guidelines, including universal precautions, time-out procedures, and moderate sedation protocols
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support during cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity Cath Lab environment
- Assist with left and right heart catheterizations
- Support procedures such as pacemaker/ICD placement, Watchman, IR procedures, vascular cases, and EP ablations
- Monitor patients closely before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with Cath Lab technologists and the procedural team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using clinical and hemodynamic systems
- Float to pre/post Cath Lab as needed
- Follow all unit policies, safety standards, and procedural best practices
