Job Requirements

• Active Montana RN license required
• Experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics preferred
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced obstetric and maternal-newborn setting
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient status
• Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope of practice
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips and communicate findings effectively
• Prepare patients for operative deliveries as needed
• Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
• Promote safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care for mothers and newborns
