• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Operating Room RN / OR RN)

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shift Pattern: Rotating schedule with variable start times, including on-call, weekends, and holidays
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,870 - $3,020
• Location: Farmington, CT

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• 4-5 years of OR RN experience or combined operating room experience
• Current circulating experience required
• Experience circulating ortho, spine, and neuro cases independently
• Scrub experience highly preferred
• Comfort with complex neuro, spine, orthopedics, vascular, and robotic cases preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient circulating support in the operating room
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, with emphasis on orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery cases
• Maintain readiness for variable start times, call shifts, and rotating weekend/holiday coverage
• Support patient safety, sterile technique, and smooth OR workflow
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Adapt to case complexity and contribute to excellent surgical outcomes
• Participate in unit coverage as needed to support patient care and operational needs
