• Call Requirement: Up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation
• Orientation: Orientation provided on scheduled dates prior to assignment start

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty, preferably Operating Room or perioperative nursing
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Experience with vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to provide requested time-off details at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
• Support vascular, neuro, and robotic cases with confidence and strong clinical judgment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Participate in call coverage and remain ready for urgent surgical needs
• Promote patient safety, sterile technique, and smooth OR workflow throughout the surgical experience
• Contribute positively to a teaching environment and support students and new team members
