• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend/Call: Every other weekend or as needed; call as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays

Job Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Tennessee
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Strong IV insertion and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to provide professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Willingness to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed
• Travel-ready candidate with all required compliance items completed before start date

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertion and administer medications per protocol
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care in a busy acute care hospital setting
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Adapt to unit needs, including floating to comparable med/surg telemetry areas when requested
