Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Thomasville, GA

Travel to Thomasville, Georgia for a 13-week Med/Surg Registered Nurse assignment in a supportive acute care hospital environment. • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV start skills required
• Experience caring for patients with higher acuity ratios preferred
• Oncology experience is highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR charting preferred
• Minimal time off requested, especially around holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to Med/Surg patients on a busy inpatient unit
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes in status
• Administer medications and perform IV starts as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document accurately in the EMR system and maintain strong clinical communication
• Manage an assignment with typical patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while delivering compassionate bedside nursing care
• Support unit needs and contribute to a dependable, team-focused nursing culture
