We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse Circulator for a travel nursing assignment in Pratt, Kansas. • Location: Pratt, Kansas
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: Every 5th or 6th weekend, plus one weekday
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand or compact license at submission
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience circulating in orthopedics, general surgery, and OB C-sections required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong perioperative nursing skills and ability to support safe surgical patient care
• Charting system experience required; experience with any EMR system is acceptable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• First-time traveler experience is not preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OR Circulator and support patients throughout the surgical experience
• Prepare the operating room and ensure readiness for scheduled procedures
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, general surgery, OB C-sections, GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and more
• Maintain a safe environment by following fire safety, infection control, radiation safety, and universal protocol standards
• Support accurate specimen handling, blood product administration, and wound management practices
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to promote efficient workflows
• Adapt to float needs as assigned within the surgical setting
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
