PACU Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Plymouth, Massachusetts for an experienced RN with perioperative, pre-op, or Pre-Admission Testing experience. - Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
- Hours per Week: 40
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,560 - $2,690
- Location: Plymouth, MA
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong ECG/telemetry and medication knowledge required prior to acceptance
- Ability to complete required testing with a passing score on the first attempt
- Experience in PACU, preoperative nursing, procedural nursing, or endoscopy preferred
- Must provide interview availability and all requested documentation at submission
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews and preoperative assessments
- Document findings accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Review medical histories and identify pre-surgical needs
- Coordinate pre-surgical requirements to help keep patients on track for procedures
- Track patients through the pre-admission process from intake to surgery readiness
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
- Support safe, efficient workflow in a busy outpatient surgical environment
- Maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach
