Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
- Location: Little Rock, AR 72205
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, Monday through Friday
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- On-Call: Required
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- Float: No
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 1 week
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a cath lab or specialty cardiac setting
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Experience in electrophysiology (EP) and structural heart procedures preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
- Venipuncture experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-based cardiovascular environment
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the cath lab
- Assist with EP, cath, and structural heart cases as needed
- Prepare patients and maintain a safe, efficient procedural workflow
- Collaborate with physicians, interventional cardiologists, and the clinical care team throughout the day
- Perform venipuncture and other unit-specific clinical tasks
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond to urgent case needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and uphold procedural standards
- Contribute to a patient-centered, team-oriented cardiovascular nursing culture
