• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300

• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; flexibility needed to support departmental scheduling needs
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Environment: High-volume ED with approximately 101 beds and a fast-paced, collaborative team

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong teamwork mindset and the ability to give and receive real-time feedback
• Comfort working across all areas of the Emergency Department
• Required certifications before start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced ER and ED environment
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, clerks, and the broader healthcare team to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver excellent patient experiences using respectful communication and AIDET principles
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record using Cerner
• Support a culture of teamwork, adaptability, and high-quality emergency nursing care
• Remain flexible to float within different sections of the Emergency Department as needed
