• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Schedule Notes: Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed by the unit
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760

Job Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• At least 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
• Comfort with procedural nursing, recovery support, and patient monitoring responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and provide pre-procedure nursing assessment
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide ongoing clinical support in the IR suite
• Assist with post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay care
• Support a multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Care for patients undergoing biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
• Contribute to trauma response care as part of the embolization response team
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and procedural protocols, including required hospital-issued attire when applicable
