Job Details
- Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every 3rd weekend
- Setting: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit
- Location: Albany, Oregon 97321
Job Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- At least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience or related maternal-child nursing experience
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- ACLS required
- NRP required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, patient education, and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled bedside nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Support safe, patient-centered care for mothers, newborns, and growing families
- Monitor patients closely, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately
- Assist with newborn assessment and immediate postpartum care
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Promote a calm, supportive experience for patients and families during delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
