Travel Labor & Delivery RN job in Anaconda, Montana: join a supportive Obstetrics and Women’s Health team and provide compassionate care to mothers, newborns, and families in a scenic mountain community.

Job Details

• Location: Anaconda, MT 59711
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: Primarily nights with occasional day coverage; may include up to 4 shifts per week depending on scheduling needs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Start Date: 09/28/2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum nursing
• Current Montana RN license or a qualifying compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Intermediate AWHONN certification
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in call coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Obstetrics settings
• Monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery with a focus on safety, comfort, and positive outcomes
• Support postpartum mothers and newborns with compassionate, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to respond to changing patient needs and clinical situations
• Participate in call coverage, including 6-8 call shifts per 6-week period, as assigned
• Deliver strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support in a fast-paced OB environment
