Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic experience required
- Experience in cardiovascular nursing, cath lab, or other high-acuity procedural settings preferred
- Strong understanding of procedural monitoring, patient safety, and emergency response
- Comfortable meeting standard travel nursing compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases, including preparation and recovery
- Monitor hemodynamic status, dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation as needed
- Perform and assist with procedural tasks such as ACT monitoring, sheath management, and emergency medication support
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote efficient patient flow
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and documentation standards throughout the assignment
- Participate in on-call coverage and provide dependable support when needed
