Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Epic experience required
  • Experience in cardiovascular nursing, cath lab, or other high-acuity procedural settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of procedural monitoring, patient safety, and emergency response
  • Comfortable meeting standard travel nursing compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases, including preparation and recovery
  • Monitor hemodynamic status, dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation as needed
  • Perform and assist with procedural tasks such as ACT monitoring, sheath management, and emergency medication support
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote efficient patient flow
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and documentation standards throughout the assignment
  • Participate in on-call coverage and provide dependable support when needed
