Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the applicable state
• At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and critical care patient care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and patient status changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to critical care standards
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Support care for a varied ICU population, including stepdown-level acuity and occasional pediatric surgical cases
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach while working night shifts
